Green Garden

Emergency 
Shelter

We provide Emergency Shelter up to ninty (90) days to families and individuals.  

Transitional 
Shelter

We provide Transitional Shelter for six (6) months to two (2) years to families and individuals.

Re-Entry 
Shelter

We provide Re-Entry Shelter for non-violent offenders released from correctional institutions.

Community 
Outreach

We provide support, services, and resources to non-shelter residents. 

Our MISSION

To minimize the impact of homelessness and facilitate the restoration of broken family relationships by sheltering, feeding, and promoting literacy within the homeless population of Newton and surrounding counties.

Board Meetings

The Garden of Gethsemane Homeless Shelter holds its Executive Board Meetings on the 1st Monday of each month.

Time and Location vary due to COVID concerns.
